The Quality Policy of Omme Gears is formed by two distinct documents (the Policy and the Objectives Program) which integrate with each other. They make the Policy itself dynamic and easily moldable to the reality of the Organization, which is in continuous evolution, ensuring that the quality management system achieves the expected results and by actively engaging, guiding, and supporting people so that they contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system.
This document highlights the commitments and principles upon which our Policy is founded, while the other document (Annual Objectives Program) describes in a detailed and specific manner the objectives that Omme Gears identifies year by year as continuous growth in improvement.
The Omme Gears top management sets as a priority objective the maintenance of an efficient Quality Management System compliant with the UNI EN ISO 9001 Standard. This involves promoting the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking capable of ensuring continuous compliance of the product/service with the requirements requested by the client, applicable legislation, and reference regulations. The management assumes responsibility for the effectiveness of the quality management system, ensuring that the established policy and objectives are compatible with the context and strategic directions of the organization.
An essential objective of the Quality Policy is to maintain and further affirm its position in the market of DESIGN OF REDUCERS AND MANUFACTURE OF GEARS AND TRANSMISSION ORGANS. This is achieved by ensuring the integration of quality management system requirements into the organization’s business processes, clearly identifying customer expectations and needs to convert them into requirements to be respected, offering clientele the best price/quality ratio for products/services, and providing services that ensure the widest customer satisfaction, with a view to continuous improvement and corporate excellence.
An indispensable objective of the Omme Gears Quality Policy is the commitment to create, develop, and spread a culture of quality at all levels of the Organization. This implies, on the part of the Organization’s top management, the provision of necessary human and technological resources and the involvement of everyone towards the improvement of the quality of the product/service offered.
Just as a high degree of involvement of all human resources in product/service quality improvement activities is decisive, the dissemination of communication inside and outside of Omme Gears is a privileged tool: this will allow achieving the fundamental objective of understanding the key concepts of the Quality Policy by all personnel.
In a system conceived this way, basic objectives of the Quality Policy include the constant training and sensitization of Process Managers and their collaborators through specific and systematic courses on quality disciplines, providing support to other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their respective areas of responsibility.
Omme Gears top management also ensures, as a vital objective, the maintenance of its corporate Quality Management System in perfect efficiency by promoting improvement and through a constant and periodic verification of the correct application of what is foreseen by Management Procedures, Operating Instructions, Process Flows, and the Quality Policy in all company areas, through internal audits and specific reviews.
Finally, the achievement of process effectiveness and efficiency objectives, which will be kept under constant control through monitoring and systematic analysis of quality data and their performance, is to be considered decisive.
The most recent period has been characterized by profound changes linked to external factors such as geopolitical crises and climate changes that have heavily influenced the market trend of the manufacturing world. To cope with these issues, it has been decided to pursue:
The consolidation of reference markets for gears.
Strengthening the brand in the world of cycloidal and planetary reducers for centrifugal separation.
Cultivating relationships with companies complementary to Omme for future partnerships.
Maintaining compliance with the Standard ISO 9001:15 and the modification +A1:2024 (introduced with Amendment 1:2024) regarding climate change and the impact it may have on Management Systems. Our Company commits to adopting sustainable practices in services and the supply chain, investing in activities with low climate impact.
The containment of operating costs.
In harmony with the current macroeconomic framework and new operating methods, this has pushed us to revisit operating environments (offices, but not only) and, more generally, the virtualization of company activities (smart working when and where possible/necessary).
3. The increased focus on risk that the Standard UNI EN ISO 9001:15 introduced in its last edition has ensured that its management has become a fundamental element for the success and sustainability of organizations in an increasingly challenging and dynamic commercial environment. Ignoring risks is no longer an acceptable option; that is why the Management has adopted proactive and integrated approaches to identify, evaluate, and manage risks effectively.
Furthermore, the Company deems it necessary to break away from old entrepreneurial logic by aiming to promote:
Poly-functionality (acquisition and elevation of internal skills).
Another pillar of the corporate policy is to reduce risks through:
The reduction of indirect/general costs (Spending review).
